The Bridge Market is held on the first and third Saturday of every month. Being situated in Ballarat it’s central to everywhere, Melbourne, Bendigo, Daylesford, you name it you’re probably close by!

There’s plenty of parking that’s free for the first two hours in The Coles & Woolies Carpark, The Big W Carpark and Cheap as Chips Carpark.

There is a pubic toilet with wheelchair access available in Norwich Plaza and more public toilets available in the Coles & Woolies Carpark near Coles on Little Bridge Street.

We encourage shoppers to bring their own bags. There are recycling and waste bins at a number of locations at The Bridge.

An ATM is available in the centre of the Bridge next to Cotton On Body (clothing store). The majority of Producers take contactless payments but cash is always handy.

We welcome dogs at The Bridge, they are allowed provided they are kept in control on a short leash at all times.

Celtic Festival

Celtic Festival

The first festival was started out of a desire to connect to Celtic culture, to bring people together and to celebrate celts in Australia. In its inaugural year, the event focused on classic Celtic celebrations, including foot-stomping music, good food and great craic.

Over the last 20 years, the festival has taken on a new form while staying true to its homage. After a significant move to Portarlington in 2004, the National Celtic Folk Festival has become a winter staple in the small, historic town, taking place over the June long weekend every year.
